"Celebrating nature is what we do"

Esteban López combines illustration, graphic design, and paper engineering with a huge interest in the biodiversity and the natural landscape of Costa Rica in his Sipidipi project.
Sipidipi's author books were carefully planned and created using the interactive pop-up technique. Each edition shows a passionate process of experimentation with the possibilities of folding and unfolding paper and with its different levels of complexity.
The thematic conceptualization and the representation of flora, fauna, and scenarios are also the product of careful documentation. In this way, they are not only valuable works of ingenuity, design, and illustration, but also didactic creations.
These "landscapes to go" are aimed at adults and children and have been exhibited in spaces such as the most recent Ibero-American Design Biennial held in Madrid.
